East Side Mario's Brampton is looking for a passionate, energetic, and hands-on General Manager to lead our restaurant to success. We're searching for a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong teams, delivers exceptional guest experiences, and is driven to achieve outstanding financial results.

As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including people development, guest satisfaction, financial performance, food quality, and operational excellence. You'll create a positive culture where team members are engaged, supported, and motivated to deliver memorable dining experiences every day.

What You'll Do

• Lead all daily restaurant operations while maintaining East Side Mario's standards.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing management and hourly team.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by ensuring outstanding hospitality and service.
• Manage labour, food, beverage, and controllable costs to achieve financial targets.
• Analyze sales and financial reports to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Drive sales through local store marketing initiatives and community involvement.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and restaurant appearance.
• Create schedules that balance business needs with team engagement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and turn challenging situations into positive experiences.
• Ensure inventory, ordering, and product quality meet company standards.
• Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and the local community.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience as a General Manager or senior restaurant leader.
• Proven success leading high-volume, full-service restaurant operations.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing labour, food cost, and P&L performance.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and restaurant systems.
• Smart Serve Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
