Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service to ensure smooth daily functioning.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets, increase profitability, and expand market presence.
• Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing retail sales team with strong product knowledge and customer engagement skills.
• Manage payroll, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to maintain financial accuracy and operational integrity.
• Oversee purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions to foster employee orientation and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures while maintaining excellent communication with staff and upper management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with a strong background in sales team leadership and operational oversight.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance customer interactions and team communication.
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management tools, cash handling procedures, and basic bookkeeping practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently using time management techniques.
• Excellent managerial communication skills for supervising staff effectively and maintaining positive customer relations.
• Experience in retail industry sales management including retail math calculations such as pricing strategies and sales forecasting.
• Knowledge of operational management tasks such as budgeting, purchasing decisions, stock control, merchandising, and shift management.
• Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within retail stores is preferred.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
