About the Role

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our business. This is a senior leadership position for an individual who can combine strong operational management with commercial awareness, people leadership, and strategic thinking. The successful candidate will take ownership of business performance, ensure operational excellence, develop the team, and help drive the continued growth and success of the company.

You will be a confident decision-maker, an excellent communicator, and someone who enjoys taking responsibility and making things happen.

Group Support

The General Manager role comes with the strength of a wider group behind it, with Health & Safety, HR, Purchasing and Marketing departments supporting your day-to-day operations so you can concentrate on leading the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall day-to-day operations of the bar and restaurant.
• Take responsibility for operational performance, profitability, and business results.
• Develop and implement strategies to support business growth and long-term objectives.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing management and operational team.
• Set clear objectives and ensure performance standards are consistently achieved.
• Monitor budgets, costs, revenue, and key performance indicators.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and profitability.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, quality standards, and legal requirements are followed.
• Manage operational challenges effectively and make timely commercial decisions.
• Work closely with senior leadership/owners to develop and deliver the company's strategic plans.
• Lead by example and promote a positive, professional, and accountable workplace culture.

About You

We are looking for someone with proven senior management experience. You will ideally have:

• Proven experience in a General Manager role.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding.
• Demonstrable experience managing and developing teams.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of accountability.
• Experience developing and implementing business strategies.
• The confidence to make decisions and lead from the front.
• A track record of improving operational performance and delivering results.

Pay: €55,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
