Job Description

General Operative – Delivery & Site-Based Work

Location: Factory / Site (as required)
Reports to: Factory / Operations Manager

Role Overview
The General Operative supports factory deliveries and site-based work, ensuring kitchens and materials are delivered, handled, and supported on site in a safe and professional manner. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Support deliveries to site and customer locations
Assist with on-site handling of materials and components
Follow instructions from site supervisors and fitters
Ensure materials are handled and stored safely on site
Represent the company professionally on customer sites
Maintain health & safety standards at all times
Carry out general factory or site duties as required

Essential Requirements

Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work as part of a team
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Willingness to work on sites and travel as required

Mandatory Certifications

Manual Handling Certificate (required)
Safe Pass (required)

Desirable

Previous site or delivery experience
Full clean driving licence (advantage but not essential)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €15.75 per hour

Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
Forklift Licence (required)

Work authorisation:

Ireland (required)

Work Location: In person
