Job Description
General Operative – Delivery & Site-Based Work
Location: Factory / Site (as required)
Reports to: Factory / Operations Manager
Role Overview
The General Operative supports factory deliveries and site-based work, ensuring kitchens and materials are delivered, handled, and supported on site in a safe and professional manner. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Support deliveries to site and customer locations
- Assist with on-site handling of materials and components
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and fitters
- Ensure materials are handled and stored safely on site
- Represent the company professionally on customer sites
- Maintain health & safety standards at all times
- Carry out general factory or site duties as required
Essential Requirements
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Willingness to work on sites and travel as required
Mandatory Certifications
- Manual Handling Certificate (required)
- Safe Pass (required)
Desirable
- Previous site or delivery experience
- Full clean driving licence (advantage but not essential)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €15.75 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (required)
Work authorisation:
- Ireland (required)
Work Location: In person
