We are looking to recruit a reliable General Operative to join our team in a busy steel fabrication workshop.
Tasks include the following
- Cutting, drilling and punching of steel.
- Working as part of a team to support and assist with the fabrication and assembly of steel structures.
- Prepare materials for site.
- Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe yard environment.
- General labouring and site support
What we are looking for in a candidate
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing is desirable.
- Forklift experience/ticket desirable.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- High level of enthusiasm and motivation and the ability to be part of a team
- Experience in construction, fabrication (preferred but not essential).
- A good work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Safepass and Manual Handling
Salary commensurate with experience and skill of candidate
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Safepass Card (preferred)
- Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)
