General Operative

ROSS Construction is currently seeking General Operatives to support our growing project. This role is ideal for reliable and hardworking individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced construction environment and contributing to the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience in blocklaying or groundwork support.
• Assist with general site duties and construction activities
• Work safely and efficiently as part of the site team
• Read basic drawings and take site measurements when required
• Support trades and supervisors with daily site tasks
• Maintain site safety standards and follow instructions from site management
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and organised

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a construction environment
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Good understanding of basic construction practices.
• Ability to work independently when required in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in the construction of residential housing developments comprising over 30 units.

Required Certifications / Documents

• Full driving licence
• Safe Pass
• Manual Handling Certificate
