We are seeking reliable, hands-on General Operators to join our team in Waterford. You will be responsible for supporting daily production, operating equipment, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. This role offers an immediate start, competitive pay, and opportunities for career growth.
- Job Title: General Operator / General Operative
- Location: Waterford (On-site)
- Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent (Shift work may apply)
- Salary: €14.50 – €18.00 per hour (Depending on experience and shift premiums)
Key Responsibilities
- Operating production machinery and equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operating machines maintenance.
- Performing manual handling tasks, including material handling, cleaning and packing.
- Conducting routine quality checks on products and escalating issues to the shift supervisor.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, strictly following health and safety protocols.
- Assisting with inventory, general warehouse duties, and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Diligence and consistency in keeping up with quality systems and processes paperwork.
