Founded in 1987, Strand Framing Ltd is Ireland's leading picture frame manufacturer supplying artists, photographers and photo shops nationwide.

We are currently recruiting for the following position in Clonakilty

Production Operator (Mon - Fri , 9am-6pm)

SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Perform a variety of picture frame product assembly and processing tasks as a production team member.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

Assembles picture frame products on an assembly operation, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis.
Ability to rotate through the assembly line.
Performs on-line and in-process visual inspection of products to ensure specifications per work order and procedure are followed.
Assists Team Leader and Technicians with product and/or machine change-overs.
Ensures product assembled meets quality standards.
Rejects product outside of specifications
Adheres to safety standards.
Performs other related tasks, as required.

COMPETENCIES

Assembly line rotation
Quality inspection
Experience with CAD computer aided design program would be a plus but not compulsory.

Full Time Position
No experience required - comprehensive training of successful applicant
6 months probation period

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €14.50 per hour
