Overview of role:
The GIS Officer role is part of the Assets & Operations group and supports Coliban Water in delivering reliable services to our community. You’ll help manage and maintain our GIS systems, ensuring accurate asset data and insights that drive smarter decisions. Alongside day-to-day GIS activities, you’ll contribute to business improvements, integration projects, and risk management, while supporting the long-term growth of the region.

Key Responsibilities:
As our GIS Officer, you’ll be accountable for:
Maintaining GIS system functionality
Maintaining GIS system and data integrity
Conducting reporting and information gathering requirements
Participate in general GIS team activities
Contributing to business improvement and risk management

About you:
1-year minimum experience using a desktop GIS software (preferably ESRI suite)
Vocational education to the standard of Certificate III/IV
Experience in GIS data management techniques and principles

Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 2 $62,475 - 72,897 Plus + Superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
