Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to propose and implement communication plans. Each day, you will implement assigned marketing communications activities through all available communications tools according to group guidelines, directives, and messages, within the approved budget. You will also showcase your expertise by generating leads via advertising, sponsorship, and other promotional activities, using the internet as a hub for integrated marketing communications. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-Hybrid. We are seeking a candidate who is ideally based in or willing to relocate to Napier, Hawkes Bay. Alternatively, the candidate can be based at our head office in Grafton, Auckland, provided they are willing to travel to our R&D Centre and Manufacturing facility based in Napier, as needed to meet with internal stakeholders. All domestic travel expenses will be covered by the company. This role is contributing to the Power Protection Product Group. Main stakeholders are internal customers, external customers, trade media and interest groups. You will be mainly accountable for: •Influencing, developing, communicating, and committing to the Power Protection business’ vision, goals, and strategies, translating them into customer communication action plans, always in alignment with the relevant teams. •Owning and driving the communications plan, applying all effective media including social media, supervising or managing production and supplier relations, developing and contributing to content creation, developing engaging messaging and product value propositions. •Managing for all global marketing material the creation, production, and publication of brochures, catalogues, white papers, web pages, interactive demos, videos and other sales literature, in either printed or electronic form to support sales activities and product launches. •Maintaining a strong and positive network with internal and external communication communities to promote knowledge of current practices and innovation. Our team dynamics: As part of our dynamic global team, you will regularly collaborate with our team based in Europe and US. Due to our international operations, you will engage in fortnightly and monthly calls and meetings outside of standard business hours, enhancing your experience working across different time zones and cultures. This role includes exciting opportunities to travel to Europe on an annual basis to collaborate with colleagues in person.

Qualifications for the role

• Minimum of 5 years industry experience in relevant communication positions.
• You possess a keen interest in electrification and eager to contribute to a global, sustainable technology company.
• Ability to showcase a proactive interest in discovering and implementing innovative communication techniques, tools, and approaches.
• You are passionate about storytelling and simplifying complex technical content into appealing marketing messages and contents.
• Generating leads via advertising, sponsorship, and other promotional activities for integrated marketing communications.
• Ability to navigate the complexities in a large, global multinational company.
• Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication, ensuring proper English usage.
