We are looking for a Graduate Trainee, Claims, to join our Allianz Commercial Graduate Program, based in Singapore.

Commencing on 01 July 2025, this is your chance to kick-start your career in the insurance industry and begin an exciting journey with Allianz Commercial. We are on the lookout for dynamic individuals eager to learn, grow, and make a real impact to our organization. In return, during your first year with us, you can expect extensive training alongside meaningful on the job learning opportunities.

You will be part of the Short Tail Claims Department, which covers different Lines of Business, including Property, Energy, Construction, Marine and Entertainment

Input and maintain accurate claims records for designated accounts, within appropriate AGCS Claims administration systems.

Review late/nonpayment of premium and support credit control process with Underwriting / Accounts.

Investigate standard claims, including coverage determination and evaluation of loss exposures.

Determine appropriate reserving levels.

Prepare and as required, settle case for settlement of standard claims through payment or denial.

Support negotiation to ensure efficient and competitive settlement.

Ensure all claims handled within authority limits, and in line with AGCS Claims Standards procedures and guidelines.

Refer cases outside of authority level.

Prepare referral documentation and materials as appropriate.

Liaise with MMC on market management initiatives.

Attend industry functions.
