The Intencity Story

Intencity opened its first Family Entertainment Centre (FEC) in 1995 and was wholly acquired by Village Roadshow Limited in 1999. We operate closely with Village Cinemas and Warner Village Theme Parks.

Intencity can be found in 5 locations along the East Coast of Australia (including Adelaide and Tasmania), as well as over 60 game foyer locations. We have a vast array of classic and contemporary video, prize and skill tester games that appeal to children, teenagers and adults alike.

About the Role:

Reporting into the Location Manager, you will deliver customer service to the highest possible standard and perform duties associated with the operation of an entertainment complex.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Always Providing exceptional customer service to both external and internal customers through recommendations, upselling and general inquiries.
• General duties, including accurate cash handling and reporting;
• Cleaning of games, floors and maintaining store presentation and hygiene levels in all areas including back of house.
• Queue management, including floor patrol and crowd control;
• Hosting of group bookings, Supersessions and Parties;
• Correcting minor games faults in accordance with training/competency level and reporting faults that require a technician;
• Other duties as specified by your manager.

What you can bring to the role:

• Excellent personal presentation;
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Exceptional cash handling skills;
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team;
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills. A growth mindset is at the heart of our culture,

Availability

We are excited to offer a flexible and rotational roster that supports you and your life, however as with the nature of our business we do require support surrounding our peak periods.

This role would suit someone with the flexibility to work across some weeknights, weekends and public/school holidays on a regular basis.
