Job Title: Hair Assistant

Salary: Starting$2,000/month

Working days: 5-6 days a week

We're looking for an enthusiastic Hair Assistant who’s ready to launch their career in a space that celebrates learning, experimentation, and style. This is your chance to grow under the guidance of top stylists and be part of a community where creativity is contagious.

THE JOB:

• Assist stylists with shampooing, blow-drying, prepping hair for treatments, and applying products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and the salon area.
• Welcome clients and ensure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for.
• Prepare workstations and stock up supplies ahead of appointments.
• Learn and support coloring, toning, and other techniques under supervision.
• Support team with laundry, towel management, and general salon upkeep.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Friendly, eager to learn, and passionate about hair, fashion, and aesthetics.
• A recent hair school graduate or someone considering a career in hairstyling.
• Excellent hygiene, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• Able to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Key Deliverables:

• Demonstrate visible progress in foundational hair skills month by month.
• Ensure clients are welcomed, seated, and comfortable
• Ensure all tools are sterilized and stored correctly after each use.
• Provide accurate and timely prep work for stylists (e.g. mixing color, sectioning hair, blow-drying under supervision).
• Stay alert to stylists' needs and proactively assist to minimize downtime.
• Follow all health and safety protocols related to chemical services and sanitation.
