Description:
About the Role:
As the Head of Human Resources, you will combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce, strengthening and championing our culture and ensuring that our policies and practices meet the highest standards of compliance within the aged care sector. What matters most is your passion, integrity and ability to connect with people.

This is a full time permanent opportunity, reporting to the Chief People and Culture Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR across the entire employee lifecycle ensuring best practice and compliance.
  • Lead the design and implementation of HR policies, procedures and frameworks.
  • Provide strong generalist HR expertise and guidance to our leaders and teams.
  • Drive employee relations with confidence and care, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee HRIS implementation and ongoing management, ensuring systems are efficient and continuously improved.
  • Champion initiatives that enhance inclusion, engagement, performance, and organisational capability.

Skills and Experiences:
Key Role Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in HR leadership roles.
  • Extensive generalist HR knowledge and practical experience.
  • Strong background in employee relations and complex case management.
  • Expertise in HRIS implementation and continuous improvement.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and collaborative approach.
  • Experience in a 'for purpose' organisation - you understand the heart behind the work.
  • Permanent working rights within Australia.
  • National Police Clearance.
