About the role

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to lead our multidisciplinary Marketing Team and drive growth-focused initiatives. In this role, you’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on collaboration to help Cropster continue expanding globally in the coffee industry.

You’ll bring solid experience leading a small, multi-skilled marketing team and enjoy balancing strategic direction with cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with peers, including the VP Sales and the Team Lead of Business Growth & Partnerships, and stakeholders across the company, you’ll ensure that marketing initiatives strengthen our brand, generate pipeline, and support sustainable global business growth.

The preferred location is Vienna, with flexibility for hybrid work.

What you'll do

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and support a six-person, multidisciplinary marketing team across brand and events, paid and digital marketing, content design, and marketing intelligence and enablement.

  • Foster collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning within the team and across departments.

  • Partner with external agencies and freelancers to complement in-house expertise where needed.

  • Oversee the marketing budget and resource allocation to ensure efficient spend and measurable business impact.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales & Customer Success, Product, and Business Growth & Partnerships to ensure a seamless customer experience across all market segments and a strong, consistent global brand presence.

  • Represent the marketing function in cross-departmental planning, providing perspective and input to support collaborative problem-solving, shared goals, and long-term strategy.

Growth & Performance Marketing

  • Oversee full-funnel marketing activities, including inbound, outbound, and paid campaigns.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales to ensure smooth lead handover and alignment with revenue and growth objectives.

  • Explore and test new channels, approaches, and campaigns to continuously optimize performance.

  • Track and analyze key metrics (MQLs, SQLs, CPL, CAC) and use insights to guide and refine marketing initiatives.

Brand & Positioning

  • Shape brand, product, and market positioning that reflects our values and resonates across different customer segments and regions.

  • Strengthen Cropster’s brand and voice through clear, authentic storytelling and meaningful engagement with our community.

  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to support launches, campaigns, and go-to-market initiatives.

Marketing Operations & Insights

  • Maintain and enhance marketing tracking and reporting systems in HubSpot and other tools.

  • Use data to guide decision-making, improve campaign effectiveness, and identify growth opportunities.

  • Share insights, lessons learned, and emerging opportunities with the wider team and leadership to support alignment and continuous learning.

We are looking for someone with

  • Extensive experience in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally within a growth-stage company.

  • Proven experience leading a multidisciplinary marketing team and managing both strategy and execution.

  • Demonstrated success delivering performance-driven marketing campaigns across inbound, paid, and outbound channels.

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, analytics, and marketing reporting.

  • Comfortable balancing strategic planning with practical, hands-on execution.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).

  • Experience collaborating with Sales & Customer Success, Product, and Business Growth & Partnerships teams.

That said, we’d be particularly delighted to hire someone with

  • Interest in or understanding of the coffee value chain.

  • Experience with ABM or segmentation-based campaigns.

  • Exposure to international marketing across EMEA, APAC, or LATAM regions.

What you can expect

The salary range for this position is € 68K to € 77K gross/year and we look at factors like your experience and individual qualifications to determine our offer.
