Kuba is growing fast and its technology is used in more than 500 cities and regions around the world. It is a member of the ICM Mobility Group, an investor in mobility solutions driving a new era of digital payments.

What we’re looking for

We have an opportunity to join our team in a pivotal role in our Copenhagen office, a centre of engineering excellence. We’re seeking a talented, experienced Head of Platform Engineering to lead our platform engineering and technical support teams (level 2 and level 3 support).

This is a strategic position, which involves responsibility for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, while ensuring top-tier support for our clients. Driving our mission to improve public transportation experiences through innovative technology solutions, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our SaaS platform.

Your leadership will be crucial to ensure continuous best practices in platform engineering, automation, and building and maintaining an aligned technical roadmap. You will foster a collaborative work environment, and will equip the L2/L3 support team to handle complex customer inquiries efficiently. You will work closely with cross-functional and cross-border teams to deliver exceptional services and solutions with minimum downtime.

You will manage a small team of three highly experienced platform engineers, and will report to the Head of Country for Kuba Denmark. In the day to day, you will interact directly with internal/external stakeholders on technical matters.

Don't hesitate to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements. We value diverse experiences and are open to candidates who show potential and a willingness to learn.

You’ll join a global team of 350, based in offices in Denmark, France, Italy, South Africa, the United States and the United Kingdom.
