Description:
About the Role:
As the Head of Residential Care, you will provide strategic leadership and be accountable for the operational performance, regulatory compliance and overall quality of our residential aged care services. Through your transformational leadership style, you will inspire your teams to deliver service excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the resident experiences safe, respectful, and person-centred care.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, you will:
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership ensuring the consistent delivery of safe, person-centred care across our residential aged care services.
  • Foster a positive and values-driven culture, promoting employee engagement, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement service delivery plans that uphold resident dignity, autonomy and wellbeing.
  • Oversee the residential admissions process and drive strategies to optimise occupancy.
  • Provide executive oversight of the AN-ACC function to support funding and clinical excellence.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant legislation, and organisational policies.

Skills and Experiences:
Key Role Requirements:
You may come from a nursing, allied health, or paramedic background. What matters most is your passion, integrity and ability to lead change with courage and purpose. You're someone who can connect with people, inspire excellence and turn vision into tangible outcomes.

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Proven leadership experience in residential aged care or related health or human services environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant legislation and compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high performing teams and support a values-based, person-centred culture.
  • Exceptional leadership capability with the ability to engage and influence across all levels of the organisation.
  • Sound financial acumen with the ability to manage resources effectively.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed professional who thrives in a collaborative, values driven environment.
  • Permanent working rights within Australia.
  • National Police Clearance.
