Summary
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark, but the position can be available for Sweden, Finland and Norway location as well.
As Head of Strategy and Operations you will drive strategic and tactical projects, supporting the Nordic Country President and Leadership Team in delivering for our commitments and business success.
The role requires close collaboration with all Nordics Team members as well as other functions within the Cluster and local organizations/teams.
This position is part of the Nordics leadership team and reports directly into the President Innovative Medicines (IM) Nordics.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide continuous support to Nordics Country President and Team on an ad-hoc basis (e.g., Monthly LT meetings, Country visits, BR preparation and any Regional/Global requests) in strong co-ordination with the other functions.
- Contribute to the development and communication of our strategic roadmap (incl. corporate strategies, business strategies).
- Consolidate and produce business plans and review together with other business heads.
- Provide support to Nordics Country President in preparing presentations for internal and external meetings in close coordination with Communications and other functions ensuring alignment and consistency of messages.
- Lead and drive strategic cross-functional projects as defined by the Cluster Team and ensure successful execution and measurable business impact.
- Assist Nordics Country President to track and provide analytical and insight driven reports on the development of strategic initiatives, financial performance and the market environment.
- Facilitates best practice sharing across markets within the cluster. Provides coaching in the context of operational excellence, strategic networking and impact on digital initiatives.
- Supports communication and leadership presentations. Coordinates and structures leadership team meetings.
- Liaise and coordinate with Novartis stakeholders in countries and Cluster and with WEC/Region Europe/Global/Group to maximize business impact.
Essential Requirements:
- Education: Master's or bachelor's Degree.
- Min. 5 years of experience in Commercial and/or medical and/or Market access and/or Marketing from the Pharma industry.
- Leading without authority / indirect leadership.
- Proficient English, both written and spoken.
- Agility and navigating complexity. .
- Project Management experience.
- Experience with the daily usage of AI tools.
Desirable Requirements:
- Consulting background.
- Fluent in one of the Nordic languages.
