Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role
  • Lead the Reporting & Strategic Insights team, providing clear guidance, coaching, and operational support to ensure the successful delivery of sustainability reports, CSRD implementation, strategic insights, and continuous improvement of reporting processes
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability reporting strategy, ensuring full compliance with CSRD requirements and strong alignment with global best practices and recognized ESG reporting standards
  • Collaborate closely with the auditor to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of sustainability reports, and manage the full reporting assurance process for all ESG data reported publicly
  • Work closely with stakeholders across business units, functions, and regions to gather high-quality data and insights for sustainability reporting, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with key external stakeholders including investors, NGOs, and industry associations
  • Lead our stakeholder engagement across national and international associations and memberships to represent and position Infineon with regards sustainability topics
  • Monitor and share best practices in environmental, social, and governance reporting trends to provide insights and recommendations on advancing Infineon's sustainability reporting practices, including supporting future commitment to the UN Global Compact and related reporting requirements
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to inform business decisions and drive sustainability performance
  • Driving the investor ratings strategy and accelerate digitalization and AI application across sustainability reporting processes

Your Profile

  • Robust technical understanding of relevant mandatory and voluntary reporting frameworks (ESRS, GRI, SASB, TCFD), rating agencies (MSCI, S&P, CSA, CDP, etc.), and applicable sustainability standards, with the ability to translate requirements into practical reporting outcomes
  • At least 7–8 years of relevant experience in corporate sustainability and ESG reporting, with experience in global, multi-branded and/or FMCG-type businesses preferred
  • Strong familiarity with the ESG regulatory landscape and non-financial reporting and climate-risk-related disclosure requirements, with the ability to proactively provide guidance on evolving regulations and emerging trends, including digitalization of reporting
  • Proven experience leading data governance processes and managing third-party data assurance and audit processes to ensure data quality, credibility, and compliance
  • Self-starter with strong collaboration skills and the ability to distill complex ideas into actionable business outcomes, supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, organizational effectiveness, negotiation experience, and a proven ability to diplomatically resolve conflicts, achieve alignment, and propose effective solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional team leadership and/or a strong track record of effective leadership by influence, including the ability to navigate complexity, adapt to changing environments, and think broadly across multiple dimensions to identify integrated solutions
  • Global sensibility with the intuition and cultural awareness to partner effectively across regions and cultures, establishing deep credibility as an experienced and thoughtful leader and organizational change agent, while serving as a role model by fostering trust, collaboration, diversity, and inclusion in line with Company Values and Culture
  • Clear track record of effective people management, including creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, growing and developing a strong talent pipeline
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory
