We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Health and Safety Advisor to join our growing team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the safe and successful delivery of our civil engineering projects, starting from the bid preparation through to project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of health and safety documentation for technical bids and tenders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential health and safety risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of technical bid documents, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare safety plans for upcoming projects.
  • Monitor health and safety performance across projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Keep up to date with current Irish health and safety legislation, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Attend site visits and project meetings to gain a thorough understanding of on-site requirements and potential safety concerns.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in Health and Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 year experience in a health and safety role within commercial construction or civil engineering sector essential.
  • Solid understanding of Irish health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
