Sunbridge is a pediatric private duty nursing agency that provides high-quality, compassionate care to medically complex children across Alabama. We are looking for a Healthcare Recruiter to help us find and hire great nurses and caregivers, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. In this role, you will lead our efforts to recruit qualified staff, keep candidates engaged, and support our mission to serve Alabama children and families with excellence and the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Talent Acquisition
Responsible for the overall recruitment efforts for Sunbridge, including engagement, pipeline management, pay negotiation, and onboarding.
Actively source, screen, and recruit qualified Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for pediatric home care across the State of Alabama.
Maintain a pipeline of pre-qualified candidates to support ongoing and future staffing needs.
Build recruitment strategies that align with patient acuity levels, geographic demand, and Sunbridge’s care standards.
Develop a strong understanding of the geographic areas Sunbridge serves across Alabama in order to clearly communicate open cases that align with a candidate’s preferred travel radius.
Candidate Relationship Management
Conduct initial interviews and skill assessments to determine clinical and cultural fit.
Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates about roles, expectations, and timelines.
Ensure timely and consistent follow-up (phone, email, text) to improve candidate engagement and reduce drop-off.
Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with the onboarding, credentialing, and clinical teams to ensure smooth transition from hire to case assignment.
Collaborate with scheduling staff to understand urgent needs (PRN, Part-Time, Full-Time) and match candidates accordingly.
Partner with local schools, nursing programs, and community partners to develop recruitment pipelines.
Process & Reporting
Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (Bullhorn ATS platform) and spreadsheets.
Use communication software platforms to stay in touch with passive candidate pipeline
Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate source effectiveness, and conversion rates.
Qualifications
At least two years experience recruiting healthcare professionals preferred; pediatric or home care experience a plus.
Knowledge of Alabama’s nursing licensure and CNA certification processes.
Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Proficient with ATS platforms, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and online sourcing tools
(e.g., Indeed, social media).
Potential to earn bonus compensation up to 20% of yearly salary based on performance (up to ~$10K per year depending on perfromance)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
