Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Heat Pump Engineer / Installer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work within the renewable energy sector, delivering high-quality installations across residential and light commercial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining heat pump systems while ensuring excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of air source and ground source heat pump systems
• Servicing, maintenance, and fault finding on existing systems
• Carrying out associated plumbing and mechanical works including cylinder installations, system upgrades, and pipework
• Working with underfloor heating and low-temperature heating systems as part of system integration
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer specifications, Irish regulations, and industry standards
• Liaising with customers, project coordinators, and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Completing job reports, commissioning documentation, and service records accurately
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and workmanship on site

Requirements

• Fully qualified plumber and/or relevant mechanical, plumbing, or electrical qualification
• Proven experience installing and servicing heat pump systems
• F-Gas certification (required)
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with underfloor heating systems (required)
• Strong general plumbing and heating system experience
• Good understanding of Irish building regulations and renewable energy standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Full, clean Irish driving licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €60,000.00 per year
