Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator/Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and will be responsible for performing tasks that require precision and attention to detail. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of construction and maintenance projects, including digging/leveling blast rock to grade with loader, loader excavator or dozer or tandem dump truck/end dump.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute project tasks efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist in site preparation activities, including digging trenches and grading land.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress.

Requirements

• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• A valid driver’s license is required Class1/3; additional certifications in heavy equipment operation are preferred.
• Asset will be having both class 1/3 and equipment experience in 1 or more areas

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From $33.00 per hour
