JBD TRANSPORT LIMITED is a reputable transport company based in Auckland, specializing in the efficient and reliable movement of goods across the region. We take pride in our commitment to safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service. We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Truck Drivers (Minimum Class 4) to join our team, who will be responsible for the following duties:
- Driving a Heavy truck
- Make deliveries or pick up goods to and from our clients
- Weight check truck before and after its loaded
- Follow correct safety procedures
- Check the condition of the load to ensure it is secure
- Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
- Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered
- Maintain vehicle equipment
- Lifting goods while loading and unloading as required.
- Other relevant duties as assigned by the management
The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $27 to $32 per hour.
Other important requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of truck driving experience
- Available to Work on weekends
- Available to work rostered shifts between Monday to Sunday including night shifts.
- Must be able to start as early as 4:00 AM.
- Must have a valid Truck Driver's license.
- Must pass drug and alcohol tests.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Self-motivated and a passionate individual
- Hardworking individual
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
