Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who may require assistance due to age, illness, or disability.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse rates.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
• Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs while considering any restrictions or preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and cooking to maintain a safe living environment.
• Utilize EMR or EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping.
• Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Provide care for individuals with specific needs including Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, hospice care, or developmental disabilities.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.

Experience

• Previous experience in home health care or assisted living settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic nursing skills is advantageous.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care environments is a plus.
• Certification in CPR and knowledge of catheter care are beneficial.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
