Our company is growing and looking to add a motivated person with great communication skills. Home inspections is a fast-paced business where attention to details and customer service matters. We are willing to provide training for the right candidate, even if you are new to the home inspection industry. However, candidates will be required to complete online classes at their own pace, then pass the National Home Inspector Exam (NHIE) prior to in the field training. Reliance Inspections will assist with getting you signed up for the online class and will provide resources to assist in studying for the exam.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed, non-invasive inspections of residential properties
• Use specialized tools and equipment to inspect structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Integrity with a strong work ethic and great attitude
• Prepare clear, concise, and professional inspection reports for clients
• Explain complex technical issues and inspection findings in layman's terms to clients
• Provide recommendations for repairs or replacements of defective items
• Follow relevant industry standards and regulations to ensure thorough and accurate inspections

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have passed the NHIE (National Home Inspector Exam)
• Valid driver's license (company vehicle provided)
• Must pass a background check
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional demeanor and customer service mindset
• Required to walk on roofs and get in crawlspaces

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
