Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of hotel operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role is crucial in maintaining the hotel's reputation, maximizing profitability, and fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the business, including staff supervision, training, and development.
  • Maximize room revenue by anticipating and planning for market shifts and develop and monitor strategic marketing and sales initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Manage staffing, floor plans, and reservations to optimize flow and maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor feedback and proactively resolve guest concerns, creating a culture of care and accountability.
  • Oversee customer service operations to ensure guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  • Manage financial transactions including cash handling and POS operations to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Communicate and promote health and safety in the workplace

Requirements

  • Opera PMS
  • Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest interaction.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hotel management software and property management systems.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and develop strategic plans based on insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

  • Bonus pay

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
