About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Cavan Crystal Hotel as an Accommodation Assistant. In this role, you will help ensure all hotel bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas are kept spotless and welcoming, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and attention to detail. The position requires working 3–5 days per week, including weekdays and weekends, with public area shifts starting at 7:00 AM. If you take pride in creating a clean and comfortable environment for guests, we would love to hear from you.

Role/ Responsibilities

  • To clean assigned bedrooms, bathrooms, corridor areas, balcony areas and public/leisure areas to the highest standards, using only the approved chemicals / cleaning materials and equipment to the highest level of standard.
  • Ensuring stocks of bathroom and bedroom items are replenished to the correct standards.
  • To ensure assigned areas are completed within the required time and to the highest level of cleanliness.
  • To restock supplies as required or directed by the Accommodation Manager/ Accommodation Supervisor’s.
  • To report any maintenance defects or otherwise which would affect the quality of the guest experience and/or, safety of the building.
  • To adhere to all systems and procedures in place.
  • To ensure the removal and safe and appropriate disposal of wet waste, glass and recyclables.

About The Role

Requirements:

  • Have extremely high attention to detail when it comes to cleaning.
  • Notwithstanding a positive attitude to the duties assigned, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience working in a Hotel in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Be available to work both week days and weekends (3- 5 days per week)
  • Ability to work alone in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and the ability to manage time efficiently.
