Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Common Area Attendant, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere of our hotel’s shared spaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to ensure guest comfort and uphold our high standards of cleanliness through diligent cleaning and maintenance of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and public restrooms. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute directly to a positive guest experience and the overall reputation of our hotel.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of all common areas including floors, carpets, windows, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to ensure surfaces are spotless and safe for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas by regularly inspecting and tidying lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and public restrooms.
• Follow established janitorial procedures to handle waste disposal, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, utilizing specialized equipment for deep cleaning projects.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to prioritize tasks and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment that reflects professionalism and guest-focused service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies used in large-scale or commercial settings.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow specific cleaning protocols consistently.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete daily tasks within scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
