Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation and safety of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and other building systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters.
• Conduct welding repairs on metal fixtures or equipment as needed to uphold safety standards and operational integrity.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated building systems efficiently.
• Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards across the property’s interior and exterior surfaces.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance records to diagnose problems accurately.
• Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion with quality workmanship.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, parts inventory, and service history.
• Coordinate with team members and vendors to ensure all repairs meet safety regulations and quality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or staff maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Lead or support maintenance teams during shift changes or special projects, demonstrating leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively.
• Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits, wiring, and control systems; familiarity with PLCs is highly desirable.
• Skilled in welding techniques for metal repairs or fabrication tasks.
• Proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.
• Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is preferred.
• Ability to perform residential painting tasks with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
• Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for guiding maintenance teams or projects.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.
