We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team. Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Assist with facilities maintenance activities to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and fixtures
• Conduct commercial cleaning duties in designated areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Operate custodial equipment safely and effectively to facilitate efficient cleaning processes
• Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies to support cleaning operations or facility needs
• Follow established safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning and maintenance activities
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress or issues encountered
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements

• Prior custodial or facilities maintenance experience is preferred, especially in commercial or institutional settings
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning equipment, hand tools, and power tools is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
• Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds safely and consistently throughout the shift
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service interactions
• Demonstrated reliability with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
• Previous experience with custodial services or facilities maintenance is a plus but not mandatory
