The Opportunity:

We have an exciting new opportunity for an entry level administrator to join the Chemist Warehouse New Zealand whanau! This is a full-time role and is located at the Chemist Warehouse New Zealand Support Office in Grey Lynn. The successful candidate will be working with our recruitment team and Health & Safety team.


Role Responsibilities

H&S responsibilities:

  • reporting for H&S monthly report
    • Admin & data managing via our Health & Safety portal.
    • ACC reporting & admin
    • Developing the monthly newsletter
  • Injury management
    • Contact with ACC Case Managers
    • Building relationships with Store Managers
    • ACC – employee liaison
    • Incident report management
  • Updating internal Safety portal
  • Booking and co-ordinating WH&S required training

Recruitment Responsibilities:

  • Assigning, editing, and posting requisitions
    • Maintaining requisitions and requisition requests
    • Liaise with candidates for missing or incorrect information and reminder emails/calls
    • Thoroughly checking rights to work in NZ and criminal history checks
    • Tracking manager approvals
    • Reviewing offer letters
  • AEWV applications
    • Communicating with candidates on process
    • Providing general information about AEWV visa to stakeholders and management
  • Email communications (General enquiries)
  • All additional admin tasks to support recruitment
  • Some recruitment event work

What you will bring

  • Dedication, focused and accuracy driven personality, who has amazing time management skills
  • Experience in an administrative role or Health and Safety Role Ideal but not a prerequisite.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A positive and fun attitude that energizes the team
  • Excellent attention to details and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
