Job Title: Senior HR Manager – HR Operations, Compliance & People Programs
Location: Pune, Maharashtra (Preferred) or Kolkata, West Bengal (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
Position Summary
The Senior HR Manager will be responsible for building, standardizing, auditing, and continuously improving HR operations across the organization.
This individual will serve as the primary owner of:

The selected candidate will be expected to personally create policies, procedures, templates, forms, HR programs, training materials, compliance documentation, KPI frameworks, onboarding programs, and operational processes while also managing and developing the HR team.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
Lead and manage:
- Day-to-day HR operations
- Multi-location HR administration

Ensure consistency across all offices and business units.
HR Compliance & Governance
Develop, maintain, and audit compliance with:
- Shops & Establishment Act
- EPFO
- ESIC
- Professional Tax
- Labor Welfare Fund
- POSH Regulations
- Payroll compliance requirements
- Statutory registers and records
- Employee documentation requirements
- Labor law compliance obligations
Maintain audit-ready HR documentation and records at all times.

Develop, implement, maintain, and periodically update:

Lead and support:

- Employee engagement initiatives
- Workplace culture programs
Recruitment Operations Governance
Partner with the HR Recruiting Lead to establish and improve:
- ATS Compliance Standards
- Recruiter KPI Frameworks
- Candidate Ownership Policies
- Recruiting SOPs
- Submission Tracking Processes
- Incentive Programs
- Interview Tracking Processes
- Quality Assurance Procedures
- Recruiting Process Documentation
HR Reporting & Analytics
Develop and maintain:
- Headcount Reports
- Attrition Reports
- Recruitment Dashboards
- Attendance Reports
- Leave Utilization Reports
- Payroll Summary Reports
- Training Compliance Reports
- Employee Engagement Metrics
- HR KPI Dashboards
Provide monthly and quarterly leadership reports.
Multi-Location Expansion & HR Infrastructure
Support organizational growth by:
- Establishing HR processes for new office locations
- Standardizing HR operations across locations
- Developing scalable HR frameworks
- Supporting office expansion initiatives
- Ensuring compliance consistency across all locations
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop:
- HR Executive
- HR Recruiting Lead
- Recruiting Team (through Recruiting Lead)

Required Qualifications
Education
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Commerce, Psychology, or related discipline.
- MBA in Human Resources, Preferred
- PGDM in Human Resources, Preferred
- Professional HR Certifications, , Preferred
Required Experience
Mandatory
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Minimum 5 years managing HR teams.
- Experience supporting organizations with 50–500 employees.
- Experience building HR processes and programs from the ground up.
- Experience creating HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and documentation.
- Experience conducting HR audits and compliance reviews.
- Experience managing employee relations and disciplinary matters.
- Experience managing onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle programs.
- Experience implementing performance management systems.
Highly Preferred
- IT Staffing industry experience.
- US Staffing industry exposure.
- IT Services or Technology Consulting experience.
- Multi-location HR management experience.
- Experience supporting offshore recruiting organizations.
- Experience with CEIPAL ATS or similar ATS platforms.
