Job Summary & Objectives
Looking for an experienced, dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated individual who has strong communication and organizational skills. This individual should be highly motivated, able to multitask and is adaptable to the needs of a growing department. This position involves recruitment of new employees, retention of existing employees, compliance and other administrative tasks as needed. The HR Coordinator works closely with the other members of the HR Department, as well as the Coordination and Nursing Staff. This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resource.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate acceptable, Higher Education Preferred
- 1-3 years business experience, health care preferred
- Computer Literate. Proficiency in typing, Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to read and write English, Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Positive attitude with flexibility to the needs of others and the company as a whole
- Must be able to hear adequately with no more than an amplifier on the phone.
Responsibilities
- Establishment and maintenance of companywide HR policies and procedures
- Full cycle recruitment, hiring and on boarding for all field staff employees, building a positive relationship to remain point of contact throughout employment
- Processing of all background checks, including references prior to hiring
- Assists in all employee evaluations, including 3 month probationary assessments and annual reviews. Counseling and/or terminations as necessary
- Maintains all reporting and tracking for HR Department including recruitment, hiring, retention and compliance stats.
- Maintains compliance for all active field staff
- Assists with field staff Disability and/or Worker’s Compensation claims.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
