Daffodil Care Services Group, one of Ireland's leading Social Care providers is currently recruiting for an In-house Recruiter to join our established Carlow office- based team. Supporting and developing a quality team is a significant priority for us and our Recruitment team plays a crucial part in continuing to achieve this goal as well as our continued service development.

Our dedicated in-house team are responsible for sourcing and recruiting social care professionals i.e Social Care Managers, Social Care Leaders, Social Care Workers, Support Workers and Relief staff for our residential and community-based therapeutic services nationwide.


Working as an In-house Recruiter, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering quality recruitment solutions that are innovative, timely and efficient.
  • Coordinating and administering the recruitment process and the day-to-day recruitment activity for all open vacancies in the company in line with the Recruitment Team's policies & procedures.
  • Supporting and liaising with our Regional Managers, Centre Managers and Senior Management in relation to all recruitment and staffing requirements.
  • Acting as the initial point of contact for all applicants both internal and external.
  • Managing a high-quality candidate experience from end to end including sourcing, screening, interview set up, interview feedback, contract terms through to candidate onboarding.
  • Managing the advertising of job vacancies online and on all social platforms.
  • Managing applicants from our employee referral programme.
  • Representing Daffodil Care Group at networking events, career fairs and industry events when required.


Essential Skills and Experience

Must have previous recruitment experience (1year minimum) and a background in social care or knowledge of the social care sector is an advantage but not essential.

Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

Confidence on the phone when interacting with candidates and internal departments

Strong administration skills and attention to detail

Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize workload

Friendly, Self-motivated, hardworking, driven and positive attitude
