Acme Brick Company (a Berkshire Hathaway Company) is an organization of professionals in the manufacturing and building material distribution industry. We manufacture brick and distribute our own brick as well as brick and associated products manufactured by others. We operate in 13 states with a philosophy that we are much more than a brick manufacturer and distributor.

Summary

We are currently seeking a Best in Class Maintenance Supervisor with a strong work ethic and desire to be an integral part of an effective team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

• Train and supervise all department staff (15-20 associates)
• Insure safety of all associates including safety documentation
• Meet set safety and production goals
• Follow all established standards, policies and procedures
• Compete all reports including hours worked for associates
• Complete maintenance requirement on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems

Skills and Experience Required for Success

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial / production environment
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial / production environment
• Must have knowledge of basic electrical systems
• Must have great communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be able to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Must have excellent computer knowledge
• Ability to wear PPE (personal protection equipment) – required and provided

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Extended hours
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Maintenance Mechanic: 6 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Malakoff, TX 75148 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Malakoff, TX 75148: Relocate before starting work (Required)
