Job Overview
As an Infant Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and guiding our youngest learners through their early developmental stages. Your passion for early childhood education will shine as you create a warm, engaging, and safe environment that fosters curiosity and growth. You’ll implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development while ensuring each child feels valued and supported.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to infants' developmental milestones.
  • Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress in key areas such as language, motor skills, and social interactions.
  • Collaborate with parents to share insights on their child's development and address any concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom setting that reflects the needs of infants.
  • Provide individualized care for each child, including diapering, feeding, and comforting as needed.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among children.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting is essential.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles to effectively support learning milestones.
  • First aid certification is required; CPR certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and experience working with children with disabilities is highly valued.
  • Strong classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • Previous experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
