Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our faith based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with infant/toddler-aged children. This role involves creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Educate students through play-based learning, hands-on activities, and structured lessons.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
  • Provide support for children with special needs or developmental challenges as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with infant/toddler-aged children in an educational or daycare setting.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of special education strategies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create an effective learning environment.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
  • A nurturing personality with a passion for teaching young children is essential.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
