Daltco Electric is Eastern Ontario’s largest independent electrical automation and lighting distributor. Daltco Electric serves the industrial, residential, and commercial marketplace from its three locations in Kingston, Brockville and Ottawa.

We are searching for an energetic, focused and dedicated team player to join us as a Inside Sales Associate in our Kingston Location.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide industry leading customer service to all existing and potential new customers.
• Generate quotes, proposals, and sales orders in a timely manner.
• Follow up on inbound leads and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the outside sales team to support their efforts and ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Utilize supplier websites to address customer inquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Follow up with all stakeholders (customers/suppliers) daily, fostering strong relationships and addressing needs proactively.
• Conduct proactive outbound calls to customers for relationship building and sales enhancement programs.
• Maintain active engagement with supplier partners.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
• Support company-wide marketing programs.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum one (1) year experience in the electrical industry or sales experience
• College diploma in Business or a related electrical discipline
• A combination of education and experience
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in relevant software and technology
