Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and personable Independent Property & Casualty Insurance Agent to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping clients protect what matters most.

No prior insurance experience? No problem—we are willing to train the right candidate who brings the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate property & casualty insurance coverage
• Quote, bind, and service policies across multiple carriers
• Provide exceptional customer service and ongoing policy support
• Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, and basic claims guidance
• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and community involvement
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and regulations

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships
• Organized with attention to detail
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning new systems
• Insurance license (or willingness to obtain—we will help guide you)
• Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

Pay: $45,000.00 - $62,438.98 per year
