Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics, excellent technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects from concept to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse interior spaces, including renovations, remodeling, and lighting design, contributing to innovative and functional environments for our clients.
Duties
- Develop comprehensive interior design concepts that align with client needs and project goals
- Create detailed drawings and 3D models using software such as SketchUp, Revit, Rhino 3D, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite use of 2020 cabinet design
- Prepare construction documents, drafting plans, and specifications for contractors and vendors
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met within budget and timeline constraints
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, lighting fixtures, and furnishings based on color theory and design principles
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and contracts to ensure seamless execution of design projects
- Conduct site visits during renovation or remodeling phases to oversee installation quality and adherence to plans
- Assist in lighting sales and provide expert guidance on lighting design solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and innovative design techniques
Skills
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds Max), Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, 2020 cabinet design
- Knowledge of color theory, lighting design, renovation processes, construction practices, and remodeling techniques
- Experience in project management including budgeting, contracts negotiation, and client communication
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas clearly to clients and team members
- Familiarity with lighting sales processes and the ability to specify appropriate lighting solutions for various environments

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 80 per week
