Position Overview

Nella Cutlery and Food Equipment seeks an organized, customer focused individual to join our dynamic team for the expansion of our new maritime location in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast paced, multi-task environment. The candidate will be comfortable learning about our full range of products and services, taking and making internal sales calls, managing incoming and outgoing inventories and integrating inventories and orders into our POS and SAP systems.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Internal Sales and Warehouse Management position include:

  • Learning about the products and services Nella provides
  • Serving customers in the retail store section of the warehouse.
  • Receiving and logging incoming warehouse inventories into appropriate computer software systems. ie. SAP
  • Maintaining store shelves and identifying low inventory levels on in-store products.
  • Taking internal sales calls. Assembling and packing orders. Shipping or delivering orders.
  • Making internal sales calls to potential new customers. Conducting follow up calls to customer requests for information.
  • Creating and sending email marketing to specific target markets.
  • Support other team members in internal and external sales rolls.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Completed or enrolled in post secondary Business/ Commerce or Management program.
  • Proven experience delivering a product or service directly to the consumer.
  • Strong willingness and ability to learn about our products, services and processes.
  • Strong sales ability and an outgoing, friendly personal demeanour.
  • Comfortable with the use of computers, email marketing and software systems. Knowledge of SAP and MailChimp would be an asset.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid drivers license

Work Environment

This is a full-time position ( 35-40hrs /week ) based in our Dartmouth warehouse and retail outlet. We offer full training in a collaborative, family oriented work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.
