Williaam Cox Limited was founded in 1966 and began life as a rooflight supplier. It is a specialist distributor of COXDOME rooflights, smoke vents, heat exhaust ventilation systems and thermoplastic materials for the construction and signage industries. It also specialises in the supply of architectural roof glazing systems.

Williaam Cox Limited is part of the Alucraft Group, a leading designer, manufacturer and installer of architecturally glazed facades. The group has experienced a significant growth in revenue, profits and employees in recent years across all three business units.

Williaam Cox Limited have a fantastic opportunity for an Internal Sales Executive to join the ‘Plastic Distribution’ division.

The purpose of this role is to be a part of a dynamic sales team, contributing to departmental targets and managing key account. The Internal Sales Executive will report to the Head of Distribution.

Principle Accountabilities:

Sales & Customer Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email

Account Management

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
  • Proactively follow up on quotes and repeat business opportunities
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the plastics product range
  • Handle customer queries, delivery updates, and after-sales support

Coordination & Administration

  • Liaise with the warehouse to ensure efficient delivery to ensure we meet our customers’ expectations
  • Maintain regular contact with customers on delivery runs
  • Monitor order progress and communicate proactively with customers
  • Maintain accurate customer records, pricing, and product data
  • Assist with sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline tracking

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure pricing and contracts comply with company policies
  • Adhere to quality, health & safety, and environmental procedures
  • Support sustainability initiatives (e.g. recycled materials, waste reduction where applicable)
  • Prepare and issue accurate quotations for plastic products
  • Convert enquiries into orders by understanding customer requirements and offering suitable solutions
  • Process sales orders efficiently and accurately on the ERP system
  • Support external sales representatives with pricing, lead follow-up, and account administration
  • Work well as part of a busy sales team
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of the product portfolio

Person Specification:

Essential

  • Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, or sales administration
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

  • Experience in plastics, manufacturing, packaging, construction materials, or technical sales
  • Understanding of plastic materials, grades, or production processes
  • Experience working with pricing structures, margins, and volume discounts

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 39 hours per week
