Internship description

Join a vibrant and social ICT team that excels in both Infrastructure and Application Management. As part of the Application Management team, you will collaborate closely with infrastructure experts, gaining a holistic understanding of our operations. This role is perfect for someone with a keen interest in automation and a desire to work with both established equipment and the latest ICT solutions.

Your tasks

Evaluate AutoIT

  • Explore alternatives and assess how AutoIT can further automate our existing equipment. ·

Equipment Integration:

  • Integrate at least two pieces of equipment using AutoIT, and implement a Process Automation Controller (PAC) to enhance equipment control and automation.

Recipe Management and MES Tool Integration:

  • Work on integrating the equipment with our recipe management and manufacturing execution system to optimize operational efficiency.

Benefits Analysis:

  • Identify and document the benefits of using AutoIT from various perspectives:
    • Equipment integration
    • Production efficiency and operator ease
    • Quality improvement and error reduction

Architectural Definition:

  • Define how AutoIT fits within our current architecture, including connections to our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and data lake.

Requirements

  • A strong interest in process automation and a passion for both tried-and-true equipment and cutting-edge ICT solutions.
  • Willingness to work in both cleanroom environments, where the equipment is located, and office settings for solution development.
  • Ability to collaborate with infrastructure application engineers, process and equipment engineers in a team-focused environment.
  • Educational background: MBO or HBO level, with a balance of theoretical and practical skills.
  • Internship duration of six months, with a flexible start date in August or September (other start dates can be discussed).
  • Affinity with manufacturing and process-oriented environments.
  • Basic programming skills for working with AutoIT and factory host.
