Conoscenza Pacchetto Office: excel (tabelle Pivot e grafici), power point e word;
Conoscenza graphPad;
Conoscenza di base saggi ELISA, Luminex, citofluorimetria di flusso;
Requisiti linguistici: fluente in inglese e in italiano sia scritto che parlato (livello minimo B2)
Data di inizio presunta: Gennaio 2025
Durata: 6 mesi (rinnovabili altri 6 mesi)

Cosa farai?
l Bioassay for Discovery Lab è dedicato allo sviluppo di saggi immunologici e funzionali per predire l’efficacia di vaccini e anticorpi monoclonali contro batteri e per studiare l’interazione ospite–patogeno.
Cosa imparerai
Parteciperai allo sviluppo e all’ottimizzazione di un saggio immunologico per caratterizzare la risposta anticorpale indotta da specifica immunizzazione o da esposizione naturale a batteri.
Cosa imparerai?
Avrai l’opportunità di acquisire competenze di immunologia applicata, con focus sulla serologia e sulla risposta umorale post-infezione o post-vaccinazione.
Avrai l’opportunità di apprendere le seguenti tecniche:
Sviluppo di saggi di binding di anticorpi policlonali e monoclonali verso batteri o antigeni batterici mediante ELISA, Luminex e citofluorimetria a flusso.
Sviluppo di saggi funzionali (battericida, opsonofagocitosi, neutralizzazione, deposizione del complemento) per valutare la capacità di anticorpi policlonali (animali o umani) e monoclonali di eliminare i batteri bersaglio.
Basi di statistica applicata e analisi di correlazione tra risultati ottenuti con saggi diversi.
Estrazione, analisi ed elaborazione dei dati con Excel e GraphPad Prism; presentazione dei risultati in formato PowerPoint.

Stiamo cercando un* neolaureat* altamente motivat* per unirsi al team Bioassay for Discovery of Immunology Function come tirocinante extracurricolare. Il/la candidat* selezionat* avrà l'opportunità di apprendere come sviluppare bioassay per misurare le risposte anticorpali ai patogeni e studiare le interazioni ospite-patogeno, applicandoli allo screening di candidati vaccini o anticorpi monoclonali.
