Job Title: Receptionist & Accounts Administrator

Location: Stephenstown Industrial Estate, Balbriggan

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Role Overview

EEC Hardware is looking for a professional and organized Receptionist & Accounts Administrator to join our team in Balbriggan. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a vital role in representing the company while providing essential support to our busy accounts department.

The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator with a keen eye for detail, comfortable handling both customer inquiries and financial administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front-of-House: Act as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls, addressing customer inquiries or directing them to the relevant department.
  • Credit Control: Proactively contact customer accounts regarding outstanding bills and payment schedules.
  • Accounts Liaison: Work closely with the accounts department to ensure customer records are accurate and up to date.
  • Financial Administration: Process customer account debts and assist with Age Analysis of customer credit account balances to monitor overdue payments.
  • General Administration: Perform various office tasks including filing, data entry, and assisting the management team as required.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred. Experience in basic bookkeeping or credit control is a significant advantage.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a polite and professional phone manner.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and comfort learning in-house accounting software.
  • Attributes: High level of accuracy, ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion, and a reliable, "can-do" attitude.
  • Location: Ability to commute to our site in Stephenstown Industrial Estate, Balbriggan.
