Inventory Manager

L'Oréal New Zealand Operations includes our Warehouse, Customer Care, Master Data and Supply Chain teams. These teams work in partnership with our Divisions to ensure we continuously improve our supply chain and achieve greater agility and efficiency to meet the needs of our clients. Operations have an important responsibility to focus on uncompromising standards of quality control, employee safety and our environmental commitments.
- Planning and maintaining end-to-end inventory management processes, procedures, and optimal inventory parameters
- Analysis and management of inventory data using Manhattan Active, Excel and Power BI
- Assisting to optimize demand and supply planning, catalogue management
- Managing SLOB stock, evaluating supply risk and maintaining min & max levels
- Managing the weekly customer cycle count process
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Liaise with our warehouses and major customers
- Develop inventory improvement and quality plans and reporting
- Produce relevant inventory KPI data to present to senior management
- Supporting the National Warehouse Manager on a daily
- Multiple stakeholders including project managers, maintenance, production and the wider business to deliver projects and ensure DIFOT in line with business objectives
- Inventory management or supply chain experience from any industry, such as FMCG, mining, utilities, oil & gas etc
- Superior systems experience, including exposure to any ERP/MRP, advanced Excel, Power BI beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, ability to deliver accurate and meaningful data and reporting to the wider business, and to educate all levels of stakeholders on supply chain challenges, solutions and deliverables
- A proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement of inventory processes.
- Team-oriented with a strong commitment to achieving collective goals.
