Investment Analyst

We are hiring: Investment Analyst, Amsterdam

Dynamic Credit is looking for an Investment Analyst for the Amsterdam office to join our Portfolio Management Team. The team currently manages over EUR 10 billion in both residential and buy-to-let mortgages as well as a portfolio of consumer loans. We offer a steep learning curve and the opportunity to work closely with the other analysts and portfolio managers as a full member of the team.

You will be involved in a variety of projects, ranging from valuation of mortgage portfolios and performance reporting to running models and preparing client pitch presentations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be the point of contact for large institutional investors and manage investor queries.

Please note that even though our company is very international, for this position we are looking exclusively for people fluent in Dutch.

How your skills will be challenged:

• Supporting portfolio managers and analysts in daily tasks

• Creating detailed performance portfolio reports for clients

• Researching market developments and contribute to quarterly updates

• Assisting in the sales process and the setup of asset management mandates

• Pricing of mortgage products

• Maintaining and enhancing valuation models and implement improvements

• Managing operational investment processes

• Having the opportunity to initiate projects and improvements

What the ideal candidate looks like:

• Fluent in Dutch and English (both a must for this role)

• Quantitative orientation

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, econometrics or equivalent

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong analytical skills to understand the complexities of our business

• An independent reasoning able to challenge viewpoints

• Experience with Excel

• Knowledge of VBA / SQL / R / Python is a plus
