Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and repair of metal structures and frameworks, ensuring that all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings, as well as proficiency in various welding techniques and the use of power tools.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Fabricate and install metal structures such as beams, columns, and trusses.
- Perform welding tasks using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and other welding methods as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Utilize power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
- Conduct pipe threading operations to ensure proper fitting of piping systems.
- Set up and operate press brake machines for metal forming tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry codes/standards during work processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:
- Experience with welding techniques, particularly SMAW, is essential.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other heavy equipment is preferred.
- Competence in using power tools
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
