As our go-to IT expert, you’ll support Clear Code’s clients from the inside out—user-facing issues, server systems, networks, and everything in between.

End-User Support

• Be the first responder for staff needing technical help across devices, apps, and tools.
• Troubleshoot desktop/laptop, mobile, printing, VOIP phone, and peripheral issues.
• Provide friendly, jargon-free training to help users maximize tools like Office 365.

Systems & Server Management

• Maintain and administer Windows OS (workstations and servers).
• Configure and manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Remote Desktop Services.
• Handle Office 365 admin tasks including setup, licensing, and email migrations.
• Assist with basic SQL Server support—backups, triggers, views, and procedures.

Network & Infrastructure

• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues, support firewall, switch, and VPN configurations.
• Perform network hardware installations, cabling, and wireless support.
• Migrate virtual machines to newer hardware as needed.

Support Operations & Documentation

• Log all tasks and resolutions in a ticketing system (PSA/RMM).
• Help build internal knowledge base documentation and asset inventory.
• Suggest and implement continuous improvement strategies to streamline support.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who’s not only technical but also approachable, organized, and reliable.

Experience & Skills:

• 2+ years in an IT support or technician role (MSP or internal IT team).
• Solid foundation in:
• Windows Server and Desktop environments
• Microsoft 365 (admin center, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
• Active Directory & Group Policies
• VOIP systems (setup and configuration)
• Networking basics: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, firewall and switch management
• Exposure to SQL Server, virtualization (VMWare or Hyper-V), and backup systems.
• Hands-on experience with RMM or PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication—you explain technical issues in plain English.
• A team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Self-motivated, quick to learn, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working with confidential information discreetly and professionally.

Other Requirements

• Flexibility to be on call or available after hours during urgent support situations.
• Physically capable of lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and performing setups in tight spaces.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
